Mission:
Tremor Trouble
Location: The Memory Den
Dogen shook his head when he spotted the familiar light-up snake creature her black combat boots pounded down the slope to the entrance. Not with fake-memory shit that his sister got the family involved with but that his niece was now involved in the life.
“Uncle!” Chamilla said quickly stepped out from behind the bar and approaching the aging Asian decent male. “What are you doing here. I wasn’t expecting you until later this month?”
Dogen just smiled seeing his niece/goddaughter. “Well……apparently my presence has been requested on Yadalla.” Dogen said rubbing his forehead looking around the bar. “Heard it’s been slow the past couple of months?”
“Yeah — ummm…..station has implemented some new regulations and my well of Starfleet personnel has dried up.” Chamilla said looking around at the well empty bar. Dogen just nodded noticing a certain man sitting in one of the stages.
“Hmph…..new regulations that could explain somethings.” Dogen mused keeping an eye on the man. “Well — let things settle don’t push.” Chamilla just nodded knowing that her family had hands in all kinds of business’s but this piece of advise felt different.
“Everything okay, uncle?” Chamilla said sounding a bit nervous but feeling safe with her uncle’s present back on the station even though he wasn’t staying.
Dogen finally looked back to Chamilla. "Everything is fine my little bird," a term that Chamilla hasn't heard in a long time. "......there's just a lot of moving parts going on right now. Deals that need to be smoothed out. Typical business as usual." Dogen said trying to keep Chamilla calm while knowing all the while sooner than later Chamilla would need to be informed of the family business.
"Okay." Chamilla said not really buying that answer but she also knew not to ask or pry too much.
Nodding his head Dogen gave one more look around the young women's business. "Stay safe my little bird. I'll be back in a few weeks." With that Dogen walked out of the Memory Den.
