Physical Description		Aixa is tall for a woman. Despite her age, she is slender and very physically fit. The Bajoran takes pride in maintaining her figure. She has shorter styled hair which is salt and pepper like in appearance. She does look aged in a way, with a few notable wrinkles on her face. If one was to look at her directly for any length of time, she would often appear somewhat stressed and tired. Her eyes are deep blue. She usually does not wear the traditional Bajoran ear-dress.

Ambitions		One of Aixa’s biggest ambitions was to regain command of her MEU - after having lost her command during the end of the last war. Her career was tarnished from a decision she made. While she does not regret the decision, she hopes to rectify and regain the respect of her colleagues.
Hobbies & Interests		Aixa thoroughly enjoys sewing and knitting. She designs and hand makes a lot of the clothes she wears while off duty. She is also an avid stone/gem collector and takes healthy interest in geology/terrain studies. Marksmanship has always been an interest of her as well, so she continually keeps up and refines that skill.

History

Personal History		Childhood/Teenage Years The Cardassian occupation of Bajor ended when Aixa was only eleven years of year. The entirety of her early and young childhood was spent in poverty and strict rule of Cardassian overseers. She managed to spend the first eight years of her life with her twin brother, mother, and father as they moved through several labour camps. Her grand parents on both sides, frail and unable to handle the harsh conditions of life on Bajor – died before she and her brother were born. When Aixa turned nine, her father was discovered to be a collaborator with the Bajoran resistance. He negotiated in good faith with an overseer who stayed true to his word and relocated his family for information on their operational cell within the resistance. Sadly, Aixa never saw her father again, as when they were relocated he was executed. When the occupation ended their mother (Neyva) waisted no time in attempting to attain refugee status on Earth. After the federation had established operations on Deep Space Nine, it was clear to Neyva this was a chance to attain peace and security for her family. As much as she loved her home world, she loved her children more and never wanted to go through the horrors of an occupation again. Neyva established a small shop on Earth as a seamstress. She settled her family just outside of San Fransisco. Both Aixa and her brother assisted and worked in the shop with their mother while completing a special education program that teachers through Starfleet had organized for them. The Federation had been generous to Neyva in helping and her children adapt and heal from the wounds of the occupation. It was hard being so separated from other Bajorans and their own culture but they adapted. During the beginning of the Dominion War, Aixa felt a determination to fight for their new home. The atmosphere had changed on Earth to one of fear and in some ways felt much too like life on Bajor when she was a child. Her mother would not allow her in enlist early and fight in Starfleet. She felt empathy for her mom, knowing that she just didn’t want to lose anyone else. Her children were her life. When Aixa was of age both she and her brother enlisted into the marine corps together. Their mother objected but respected their decision. Starfleet Career Due to War operations at the time, Aixa was put into an accelerated training program for enlisted marines. It was developed to get soldiers in the war effort as quickly as possible. It was a much more stressful and rigorous program in comparison to the traditional year program. It well prepared Aixa for the two following years of hell she endured fighting against the Dominion with the 88th Infantry Company. MORE TO BE ADDED SOON
