| Personal History | The idea to join Starfleet was far from Gavin's mind when he was studying intergalactic law at Pepperdarn University in California. He was in his last year of studies, and doing well, when he was approached with a couple of intriguing offers. Both from the intelligence community. They were from Starfleet Secret Service and The United Federation of Planets Intelligence Agency. Apparently he fit the bill for what they were both looking for...like a glove. When he told them both he wanted to graduate and do his articling so he could actually become a practicing lawyer, Starfleet told him that he could work in their legal dept. so he could get called to the bar. And this was the offer he accepted Gavin's first 4 years in intelligence was as promised. He worked in the Starfleet Secret Service legal department as a civilian. And then, when he was called to the bar, and was able to practice, Starfleet asked if he wanted to do field work. Gavin JUMPED at the chance. Going through officer training and skipping the Academy all together, Gavin was trained in the fine art of field work. And Gavin was great at it. When he was finished, he was given the rank of Warrant Officer. Gavin has proven himself a resourceful, capable, and effective field operative. Current Assignment: Starbase Versailles. |
