Ky'La wasn't sure of herself as she looked wildly around their quarters. 'Was his things in the right place? Did she remember which pictures to put just where...' her mind was in a fizz. The arrival of Jonathan took some doing but she got him a spot on the Versailles. She wanted him there, no she needed him there.

About two years before they met, Ky'La was wandering down a dark corridor on the USS Cardigan and out of nowhere three Nausicans jumped her. With no where to run, she fought them until she fell unconscious. When she woke, she was in the bases infirmary, bruised, broken, battered, but otherwise in one piece. She wanted to thank the person or persons who brought her there but they were gone. She had asked one of the nurses, but she just shrugged off as if it wasn't important. She was there for nearly a month before she was cleared for duty and went back to work.

Back on the job, she got a com from a Lt. Jonathan Williams, inviting her for a drink and she accepted. Not knowing who this person was she went in uniform and got the surprise of her life. He was handsome in her eyes. Brown hair and hazel brown eyes, rough hardened look but not all that hard, muscles and a look about him that told you he had a good heart. She continued to see Jonathan on a regular basis for another year happily.

The following year he proposed to her and Ky'La accepted eagerly and they set a date however, Starfleet decided to go and mess their plans up by sending him on another ship thus tearing them apart. They both swore to wait for each other faithfully and parted company. She communicated with him very often and even manahed to get time with each other but when Ky'La transferred to the Versailles, she swore to get him on the station. Making a few calls, she pulled some strings amd got him transferred to the station.

Ky'La was satisfied finally that everything was right in the apartment before she ran to the lift and sent it to the upper docking ring where Johnathan's shuttle was docking. Her stomach was flipping like butterflies dancing making her a bit queasy. Waiting patiently for the final sequence to finish cycling, she trembled slightly making her knees nearly buckle. As the door opened, she held her breath amd watched as the passengers filed out
Breathlessly watching, and when he finally did appear the door, she almost fainted! There he stood in all his splendor, the handsome rugged man that stole her heart two years earlier.

She raced into his arms, as he scooped her up, kissing and crying happily, they were together again, but this time for good as now they were going to be married soon and on the station. Happily, they walked to the lift and sent it to their quarter's where she made him close his eyes before they enterd so he could not see what she had done. When he did open his eyes, he was awe struck! She had indeed remembered exactly how he had his things when they were together. Taking her in his arms he said one thing to her, " Ky'La, I love you."
